Dr. Pete Birdsall

-  Graduated from Ontario Veterinary College in 1965

- Author of 3 books related to horse breeding that have sold in 25 countries

- Regular contributor and author of articles in a number of major horse publications in United States and Europe, published in 3 languages- Breeding News for Sport Horses, L'Anee Hippique, The Chronicle of the Horse, etc.

- 1984 - 1988 major advisor for program at University of  Colorado in artificial insemination and embryo transfer in horses with Drs. Ed Squires and Wm Pickett and Smith Farms

- 1993 awarded Canadian Bronze Medal for ‘Leadership in Technology'  in Ottawa

- Advisor to numerous international competitors and horse breeding  farms and organizations in USA and Europe in breeding and purchasing of competition and breeding horses

- Presentor of numerous seminars and workshops related to sport horse breeding throughout the United States and                    Canada

- Founding and present director of the Performance Horse Registry, a subsidiary of The Jockey Club in Lexington, Kentucky.

- Former member of an advisory committee at Mohawk College, Hamilton, Ontario

- Developed Training and Development software for Agriculture Canada in Ontario region

- Developed ‘The Inspection Program' a software program currently being used nationally to improve food safety

- Developed StarMaker, software for the  sport horse breeding industry

- Developed  LambQuest, a computer software program for the sheep breeding industry

-         Varied equestrian involvement including fox hunting, hunter and jumper showing, horse breeding, calf and team roping

-         Since 1970 has resided on his farm near Brantford, Ontario, Canada.
