The CoR party of Ontario was established in May 1990 and we did quite well in the provincial election that took place a few weeks later.

The "Confederation of Regions" name comes from our recognition that regions of our country have different economic and social interests and we are aware of that fact.

CoR places emphasis on real democracy and the need to ensure politicians do not ignore the people in favor of party solidarity or the self serving need to be re-elected.
