Most hand frequency tables produced by computer programs do not take flush hands into account because of the barrier of the large amount of computing time required.   HALSCRIB's tables.   These frequencies weight a particular hand's expected pegging value.

Hand   Frequency   Algorithm:

• for each candidate Pone hand
• compute expected hand value
• use Dealer discard-pair frequency table to compute expected crib value
• use table-lookup for expected pegging value
• choose best combined expected value
• accumulate discards into discard-pair frequency table
• accumulate kept cards into hand frequency table
• repeat above for each candidate Dealer Hand, but use Pone discard-pair table
• repeat above two steps until both hand frequency tables no longer change
