VISTA Upgrade Procedure

For CLX or version 8 Users

1. Install HALSCRIB from your CD, use the default install folder C:\CRIBBAGE\HALSCRIB

2. click the HALSCRIB desktop icon to confirm.   A RESTART mey be necessary on some systems if you get a "prompt".

For version 4 - 7 Users

1. Download the free version HALSCRIB LITE, unzip and run the unzipped EXE.  

2. Click on the HALSCRIB desktop icon to confirm.   A RESTART mey be necessary on some systems if you get a "prompt".

3. Place your HALSCRIB CD into your CD drive, then EXIT IMMEDIATELY.

4. Use Windows explorer and locate the HALSCRIB.CAB file on the CD (should be in the HALSCRIB folder).

5. Use WinZIP and extract ONLY the following:

Click YES if prompted to "OVER-WRITE?" into the SAME folder you chose in step 1!   Default is C:\CRIBBAGE\HALSCRIB.

NOTE: This is NOT the same default folder as before!

6. click the HALSCRIB desktop icon
