When you click View - Discard, the Help window presents the first eight rows of OPTIMAL Discard Help sorted by the hands under OPTIMAL HOLD. Slide the scroll bar down to see the remaining seven hand rows.
EXP VAL is the sum of EXP HAND, EXP CRIB and the difference between OPT PEG and DEF PEG. EXP CRIB values are negative when HAL deals.
Click the EXP VAL column once or twice to sort the values into descending order. Make sure that the scroll bar is positioned at the top! The EXP VAL on the top line is 13.89 (8.09 + 2.35 + 3.45) - the discards QS KH.
