Re "An inquest is not a trial," by Lorrie Goldstein (July 2): After reading this column about a cop being used as a whipping boy during the inquest into the death of Jeffrey Reodica, I felt moved to act, unlike Dalton McGuinty, our dithering premier. Too many innocent police officers are sacrificed at the altar of political correctness. Why take it out on the officer who stopped Jeffrey Reodica as he was required to do by law?

Took me two years to track down these two great Canadians: Ron and Laurie, owners of Lene Sunglasses

Two years ago, my disabled son Logan and I attended the Winona Peach Festival and found a fantastic vendor named Ron Lehnen (left) and his lovely partner Laurie Leonard (on the right).

I have a pair of electric blue titanium glasses that have bi-focal lenses in them.

So finding good quality clip-on's that are the same shape and size of the lenses has always been a challenge, until I met Laurie and Ron.

Being a public advocate and registered lobbyist allows me to travel a lot and meet new people all the time, from all walks of life.

Moving public policy takes lots of people skills, so you get to know what makes people tick, what moves them to act.

So when I run across a high calibre individual or two like Ron and Laurie, that impress so handily, I stick with them and their products out of respect and loyalty, no matter how long it takes to find them again.

The excellent customer service provided by these two great Canadians and owners of "Lene Sunglasses" should never be over-looked, it's so rare these days in retail.

What I like most about these two is their ability to pick out sunglasses and clip-on's that compliment your face and natural good looks, we all have a face our Mothers love, right?

Shape and size matter when it comes to fitting a pair of killer sunglasses on so many different faces, it takes a keen eye for beauty in all they see, they are amazing to behold.
