There's been a lot of rhetoric from Hamilton city Councillors who feel left in the dark by city manager Doug Lychak's relentless quest to right our sinking ship.
But council's appalling lack of leadership is in stark contrast to the solid management structure and tax savings that Lychak's steady hand has brought to fruition.
When will Councillors realize it is they who haven't kept pace with the changes Lychak has initiated, and it is they who are doing more harm than good?
How can Councillors complain about the lack of timely information when their parking lot is deserted at 10:30 a.m. on a weekday morning? In the real world, full-time means being there for a full day at least five days a week, like the rest of us.
These Councillors should pull up their socks and improve their attendance at City Hall before complaining they are not being informed.
If they are not there to be told, how would they know what's going on?
