After reading political science professor Henry Jacek's one-sided argument against a Canadian Alliance breakthrough in Ontario, I'm left wondering why Jacek would have us believe that the Liberal regime lead by Jean Chrétien is somehow better than Stockwell Day's agenda of respect for Canadians.
The Liberal government of the day now shamefully admits that it has created the health-care crisis in Canada by cutting billions of dollars in funding to the provinces health care systems while distorting the health care stand the Canadian Alliance clearly articulates in their plan for Canada's future. Chrétien insults the intelligence of every patriotic Canadian by suggesting that other leaders such as Stockwell Day and Joe Clark are not fit to lead Canada.
As a concerned and involved citizen, I work hard to support my wife and disabled boy. I take exception to a party and a leader who would stoop so low to retain power and influence over the quality of life my family should rightly enjoy. Stockwell Day and the Canadian Alliance will put my son and his quality of life first.
I look forward to casting my ballot on Hamilton Mountain for Stockwell Day's Canadian Alliance.
