Eves leadership beats competition

Re: Blackout worthy of aid from Ottawa, says province (Aug. 22)

Despite all the hardships that have befallen Ontario over the past year, Premier Ernie Eves has stood head and shoulders above the rest, showing leadership and the resolve to make it right.

When he called on Ontarians to conserve, we responded by cutting back, while holding others who didn't to account.

Why did the Dalton McGuinty Liberals and Howard Hampton NDP put their own electoral interest first, by blaming hydro privatization instead of the overloaded American power utility that caused the blackout?

Once again, when it comes to strong leadership, Eves proves Hampton and McGuinty are still not up to the job.
