RE: 'Tory thinks welcoming Bryden hurts party credibility' (column, Mar. 1)

So, Conservative nomination candidate Mandie Crawford is having second thoughts about disgraced Liberal incumbent John Bryden and his sudden discovery of his conservative notions of leadership for the constituents he wants to continue to represent as a member of the Conservative Party of Canada.

Finally the riding of Ancaster-Dundas-Flamborough-Westdale has a chance to nominate a representative who has a mind of her own and a clarity of thought that is focused on putting the constituents of Ancaster-Dundas-Flamborough-Westdale first.

Thank goodness Mandie Crawford has the wherewithal to rethink a position with respect to self-serving Liberal politicians like John Bryden, who conveniently jump ship when the rowing gets tough -- and the courage to say so publicly. A refreshing notion indeed.
