Re: End this family's pain
Letter, Jan. 19.
So Robert Latimer apologist Paul Zollmann finds it necessary to remind law abiding Canadians that it has been three long years since Latimer murdered his disabled daughter, who had cerebral palsy, and that the government has not granted him early parole from his ten-year sentence because he refuses to ask for a "prerogative of mercy."
Perhaps, one day during the seven years left of his sentence he will come to understand the true value of the mercy he seeks, the tender mercy of life he refused to extend to his disabled daughter when he snuffed out her life with tail-pipe gas funneled into the cab of his pick-up truck.
