classic story of a miser who learns the true meaning of Christmas
when three ghostly visitors review his past and foretell his
future. Although this book has been made into every imaginable
version of screenplay, the original story is still timeless and
well told. It is a wonderful book for reading aloud and the
whole family will enjoy Mr. Scrooge's reformation.
Children's Book:

This
is a book for older children, who will be charmed by the magical
world of Middle Earth. Bilbo Baggins, is a hobbit. He is best
pleased when sitting by his own fire with his pipe and a good
meal to look forward to. Certainly this particular hobbit is
the last person one would expect to see set off on a hazardous
journey. No such luck, however; as thirteen fortune-seeking
dwarves arrive on Bilbo's doorstep in search of a burglar, and
before he can even grab his hat or an umbrella, Bilbo Baggins
is swept out his door and into a dangerous adventure.
