Chocolate Chip Cookies

After a rough morning of snow shovelling, its great to bite into a warm cookie! The secret of these soft and delicious cookies is their short baking time. They are best if eaten within two days.
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 cups corn oil margarine
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups flour
1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
Cream margarine with sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Beat mixture until fluffy. Add baking soda, baking powder and flour. Mix well to form a soft dough. Add chocolate chips.
Form the dough into golf ball sized shapes and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Makes two dozen cookies.
