Each month, the Rose Garden will recommend

My favourite beaches are
in Prince Edward Island. The official PEI web site allows you
to do a little armchair travelling. It offers a complete run-down
of attractions, tours, accommodation, dining and beaches. A beautiful
series of aerial photos highlight PEI's magnificent scenery.
The site also offers greeting cards, screen savers and wallpaper.
You can even tour Green Gables using Quick Time VR.
Too rainy to visit the
beach? There's plenty to do in Hamilton. This site contains a
description of museums, heritage sites, conservation areas, art
galleries and major sports facilities in the Region of Hamilton-
Went worth. A clickable map is included so you can pinpoint the
geographical location of each landmark.

Children's Link: KidChef
KidChef -where kids rule
the kitchen! A list of favorite kids recipes with easy instructions
for kids to follow. Quizes, cooking news and discussion of unusual
foods as well as food traditions from around the world.

This site is part of the
"Ocean Planet" exhibition created for the Smithsonian
Museum. It highlights issues ranging from pollution and alien
species to habitat destruction and over-fishing. All topics are
well illustrated and are linked to more extensive scientific
articles.
