'Tis the season to get syrupy. Here's everything
you ever wanted to know about maple syrup production and history.
Maple syrup FAQ's include tidbits such as which vitamins maple
syrup contains and how many producers there are in Canada. The
site also includes an extensive list of recipes, from main dishes
to desserts and of course, a product order form. Click on the

This charming pioneer village is actually
situated a few miles outside of the City of Hamilton, but it is
located within the Region of Hamilton-Wentworth. The Westfield
web site features a virtual walking tour of the village with photographs
and descriptions of all the buildings. Special seasonal events
are described. Anne of Green Gables movie locations are also included.

This web site is divided into three sections;
Chickadee for kids 6 to 9 years old, Wired Owl for kids 8 and
up, and Cyberfamily for the parents. The Chickadee and Wired Owl
sections feature games, jokes and trivia, while the Cyberfamily
section contains tips from fellow parents and kid safe web links.

Amnesty International is a worldwide network
of volunteers who work to prevent violations of fundamental human
rights. This organization works impartially to free political
prisoners and to prevent the torture, death and other cruel treatments
of prisoners. The Amnesty web site includes information about
the organization, current Canadian Amnesty initiatives and how
to join.
